About Spawn Nook
Spawn Nook is a small lookup site for games: a Pokémon type chart and type calculator you can filter and print, with guides for cheats, builds and Minecraft ideas on the way. Each page opens with the working tool, then explains it. Game data is checked against a public source and the game version is stated on the page.
What it does today
The type chart shows all 324 matchups of the 18 Pokémon types, with a highlight for any type you tap. The calculator takes one or two defending types and an attacking type and shows the multiplier: ×4, ×2, ×1, ×½, ×¼ or ×0. It shows type matchups only; abilities, held items and move rules can change real damage.

How we check the data
We downloaded the damage relations of all 18 types from PokéAPI on 13 October 2026, rebuilt the 18 × 18 table and compared it with the chart cell by cell: 324 cells, no differences. Then we clicked every calculator combination in Chrome, 171 defender choices (18 single types and 153 pairs) and all 18 attacking types, and compared the results with the same data: 0 wrong. The chart matches the main-series games up to Generation 9 (Scarlet and Violet); the matchups have not changed since Generation 6.
