Privacy Policy

Spawn Nook is built to need very little data. The type chart and calculator run in your browser, and the types you pick never leave it.
What stays in your browser
The types you highlight or choose, the multipliers and the lists are worked out on your device. The server does not receive them.
What the server records
Like any web server, ours writes one line in its access log for each request. A line holds five fields: IP address, time, page requested, browser string and status code. We use the log to find errors and abuse.

Cookies, analytics and ads
Spawn Nook sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics script and shows no ads.

Our site is reached through a content delivery network, which may set its own technical cookies for security. We do not control those.
The feedback form
If you send a note, we store its time, your helpful/needs-a-fix choice, the page address, the topic and the text of the note (up to 1,000 characters), and keep the newest 300 notes. Please do not put personal details in the note. A one-way scrambled form of your IP address is held for 20 seconds to limit repeat sends and is then discarded. To have a note removed, email [email protected] with the page it was sent from and roughly when.
Children
Games attract young players, so we keep the site simple: it collects nothing that identifies a child. Children should not use the feedback form without a parent or guardian.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to delete it or ask us to correct it by writing to [email protected]. Because we do not store accounts or names, in most cases the answer is that there is nothing to delete.
